About the band
Kedo was formed in 2009 by four schoolmates from Kolding, Denmark. Already after a few months the band achieved great success, when they impressed as runners-up in DR’s (Danish Public Radio) “Rock Train” competition for upcoming bands. That same year, Kedo was unveiled as the first act in the line-up for Jelling Musikfestival. The song "Tears" received a lot of praise after it served as background music for the Jelling Musikfestival teaser spots on MTV and VH1. As a result, "Tears" was the most streamed track on Myspace Denmark for a short interval.
In 2010, Kedo released an EP. Several Danish radio stations have aired Kedo’s music, including Denmark's largest radio station P4, which sent the track "Seeking for Love" into national radio rotation. This attracted interest from some of the country’s most respected venues. As a consequence, the band has opened for Dúné, Tim Christensen and The Rumour Said Fire. After a period where lead singer Simon Brohus has been working on his solo project, Kedo has now released their new single ‘New Life’.
